Tin Ore is the next list you’ll be exposed to and may even be exposed to some Tin Veins while mining Copper. You must be mining skill level 65 in order to mine Tin. As I know it can be quite frustrating mining for gold at times I thought you may be interested in this Gold Course which shows you how to maximize your gold profits.

There are quite a few zones to get Tin so I’m going to focus on two of the best. You can call one for horde and one for alliance if you want, but what I really did is made one per continent in case you are unable to freely travel or don’t feel like it. The two zones I choose for mining Tin are Hillsbrad Foothills and The Barrens. The Barrens will be great for everyone who was mining copper in The Barrens you probably also mined Tin while there when your skill was high enough.

This map is incredibly similar to the copper route for The Barrens.  The main focus for this however, should be in the higher level mobbed areas, especially in the south where the mobs reach as high as level 25.  I’ve also cut out some of the other route that was used for Copper. Copper Ore is the very first ore you will run into while mining.  It comes from Copper Veins and is found in mostly in lower level areas and starting zones.  You can get copper veins in just about any starting area, but the two spots I want to focus on are The Barrens and Elwynn Forest.

In my opinion if you are getting Copper Ore to level up your skill you are better off just buying the ore and smelting it for the first levels. If you don’t have the gold to do this take a look at this Gold Course which teaches even the lowest level players how to make a lot of gold.

If you’re a gnome or dwarf you can take the tram from Ironforge to Stormwind to do this route, humans will already be there.  For The Barrens Trolls, Orc, Tauren, all start in areas that border the barrens.  Blood Elves and Undead can use Eversong Woods, there’s a teleportation crystal near the outside of the city for the Undead to use that brings them to Silvermoon City.  Night Elves and Draenei will use Azuremyst Isle.  If you’re a Night Elf, there’s a boat you can get on from Darnassus that brings you to Darkshore, from there go to the furthest point of the dock and take the boat to Azuremyst Isle.

This 1-450 Mining Leveling Guide will tell you how to Level Mining in the fastest and most efficient way possible.  Using a mixture of Smelting and Mining we will go from 1-450 in a very, very short amount of time.  This is the fastest way to level mining in World of Warcraft.

Make sure you have already have a mining pick and that you know where all of your mining trainers are at.  The mining trainers have all the recipes you need to smelt in these steps.  It is also a good idea to have wow mining addons, such as, gatherer in order to track mining nodes in game for the parts you will have to go out and mine in this guide.
