Mithril Ore is another ore that you can mine and sell for a lot on the Auction House. I’ve seen it over 20 gold a stack on my server, you must be mining skill level 175 in order to mine this stuff. The two zones I’ve chosen are Tanaris and Badlands. I’ve had some really good success mining in Tanaris, although it takes awhile to run the full circuit, it is well worth it if there there aren’t many miners out in the zone that is.

Mithril Ore in Tanaris

The route for Tanaris is very simple, run the entire outside.  But where most people miss out is they don’t take the time to drop down into the hives.  I’ve marked the two hives with a V.  If you are running over the hives and you see some deposits that are underground, go ahead and get them, they will most likely be up because there aren’t a lot of people willing to take the time to drop down in there.  Plus, it cuts out some of the bore of running in circles all day.
